How to Prepare for Your Lash Appointment

Clean lashes, happy lashes

For the best results, it’s important to arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Residue from mascara, oils, or skincare can prevent the adhesive from bonding properly, which may shorten retention.

Skip oil-based products

Avoid eye creams, oils, or makeup removers around your eyes on the day of your appointment. Oils break down the adhesive, making your extensions fall out faster.

Arrive relaxed and ready

Try to come to your appointment rested and ready to relax — a lash session is your time to unwind! Avoid wearing contact lenses if possible, as removing them during the appointment can be tricky with fresh extensions.

What to expect

  • Consultation: We’ll chat about your desired look, lash health, and style preferences.

  • Application: Each extension is applied individually, creating a custom set tailored to your eyes.

  • Aftercare instructions: You’ll receive guidance on how to care for your new lashes to ensure they last as long as possible.

Final thoughts

Preparing properly helps your lash artist work their magic and gives you the best-looking, longest-lasting lashes. Clean lashes, no oils, and a relaxed mindset go a long way in keeping your set flawless.

Tip: Avoid caffeine right before your appointment if you’re sensitive — it can make your lashes more twitchy during application!
